This year I got the opportunity to run for the Best of Western Washington 2015.  I was so excited that I got nominated and got the chance to run.  I ran with 97 other nominees in the category of Best Wedding Makeup.  To say that I was nervous to run is an understatement.  To put yourself out there and have your business rely on votes is nerve wracking you start to look at your work in a new light and want to make sure you are putting the best out there.

It is also hard to ask people to vote but I have got to say I have the most supportive clients, family and friends.  My goal was to make it into the top ten and I honestly had no idea if I would be able to do it.  I found out a few days ago that my business got into 8th place.  I am thrilled and I want to take the time to thank all of you who took the time to vote for me.

First and foremost I want to say Happy Halloween.  Now yesterday I got a message from one of my friends on Instagram saying to check out Seattle Bride Magazine’s Instagram page.  When I went onto their page I see that my Zombie Bride that I did makeup for Rock Bride Magazine was featured on their Instagram page along with 4 other spooky images.  I am so excited!!!! 

I love Seattle Bride Magazine and to see that they picked that image for their top 5 inspirations is amazing.  I worked with a team of amazing people to put that shoot together it was teamwork that made that image beautiful.  Everything came together perfectly from the makeup, the photography, the models, the dress and the flowers.  And to see this image loved by many is so cool.

I got some exciting news this afternoon.  The Luxe Pearl published an engagement shoot today.  Photography was done by Jenny Ostenson Photography, she is an amazing photographer and comes up with the best ideas.  Her website is www.jennyostensonphotography.com you should check out her work.  Our models are an adorable couple who are going to be getting married this next year, they have a little girl.  Geneieve and Kevin are the sweetest couple and I have had the opportunity to work with them before.  The shoot was taken in Mt.
